Great article from my very good friend and brother who happens to be one of New Jersey’s most prominent Latino leaders. His opinion is valued across many communities in the State. Thank you ⁦@CarlosMedinaEsq⁩ for shining a light on this topic. njbiz.com/opinion-world-cup-…

The affordability crisis in Jersey City is personal to me because I grew up here and I’ve seen our community grow and change. As Mayor I’ll fight for more affordable housing and hold developers accountable — and if they say they can’t do it, I’ll sit down with a pencil and paper and show them how.

No graduation ceremony would be complete without the poignant words of our @NJCUPresident Andrés Acebo. Check out his message during the 2024 Council on Hispanic Affairs Pa’lante Graduation & Scholarship Luncheon this week! "This world is not as divided as the evening news might want to suggest or sometimes our politics wants to dictate. There are dreamers in this room that make us want to elevate our imagination."

Twenty months after declaring a financial emergency that seemingly had the school on the verge of bankruptcy, New Jersey City University received a stunningly positive review from Moody’s, which upgraded its outlook from “negative” to “stable.” roi-nj.com/2024/02/21/educat…
