No entiendo cómo puede ser. Vi a Michael Jackson morir, a Maradona morir, a Pelé morir, a la reina Isabel morir; vi pasar a tres papas.

I am tweeting this to complain on behalf of the @SteersSA and @fishaways staff. The Princess Crossing Branch at Ontdekkers Road, Roodepoort. To management, Hi. Your branches are COLD! To say they are cold is an understatement. It's literally freezing and colder than the weather outside! We (customers) were told that apparently the AC isn't allowed to be switched off. It was so cold that we couldn't stand the coldness of the shop for that 15 minutes of us waiting for our orders, now imagine the staff members who have to endure that for an entire shift. How are they supposed to function or survive in such a cold environment, especially during this cold winter?? Please amend whatever rule you guys placed and allow staff members to turn the heater on. They, too, deserve dignity and comfort. Thank you.

This is just peer pressure talking. You know very well no one is gonna bother you. Namibians don't even have a stereotype. We don't know if they steal jobs, cars, husbands, buildings. We don't know if they sell anything. A lot of South Africans have never even seen a Namibian.
Namibia has urged its citizens in South Africa to remain vigilant and seek consular assistance if needed amid ongoing anti-migrant unrest and xenophobic attacks. namibian.com.na/namibia-urge…

It's hilarious when companies try to make it seem unethical to only be at work for the money. What other reason would I be here???

I tweet for me boo 😭 Twitter for the OGs was basically a diary. We wasn’t sitting around chasing engagement . You just had a thought, tweeted it, and kept scrolling. If somebody saw it, cool. If they didn’t, oh well 😂 Twitter originally wasn’t even about likes like that. It was just people broadcasting their random ass thoughts into the universe.
Ppl who keep tweeting with 0 likes fear no one 😭

South Africa is like that one obedient kid that one day decided to use words like NO, and all of a sudden, everyone is calling him rude and mean.

113 families affected by the April 2022 floods in eThekwini have now received permanent homes in Ward 102, Cornubia. This is the type of service delivery our people deserve: dignity, shelter, and action. Register to vote EFF in the 2026 Local Government Elections.

The chorus is beautiful and relatable to feelings of joy if u ignore the part about her marriage ending. The brain latches onto the parts that match ur emotion in the moment. Besides, art isn’t meant to be consumed as a package deal.

"That woman in the pic guys. Her name is Puleng. She works at the Vereeniging license department. She's helping people who pay tjotjo. I was there yesterday to do my PRDP. I got there at 9. I was helped at 13:30.she was bringing people from outside and pushed them in front of the queue. The other guy said to me that he gave her something to drink and she helped him quickly. So clearly if you don't have tjotjo you won't get help. Today I must go back because I was told the system is giving problems, simply because I didn't pay anything. But after I was told that I saw them continue working. The Vereeniging License Department has a lot of corruption" from anonymous Vereeniging

R100k monthly CTC coming into your bank account as R60k should make you mad as a citizen of SA considering how your tax is being squandered by politicians.

The “Hold the door” scream from Hodor as he holds back the Night King's wights trying to kill Bran Stark in Game of Thrones is the brutal revelation of Hodor’s entire existence. As the Night King seeks to erase the last archive of humanity’s history before it can be weaponised against him, the only thing standing in his way is Hodor, who is not a warrior nor a king, just a man shaped by forces he never chose. As he holds the door against the wights, screaming the words that defined his life, the series makes a ruthless point: power often rewrites the lives of the innocent to secure its survival.

Banyana baka? 😭 Y’all are so classist and it’s honestly pathetic! 😂 We buy into good reviews EVERY SINGLE TIME! Woolies toner was trending like crazy because of all the local hype and positive reviews, no one was out here asking, “Why are you buying skincare from a food store tho?” CeraVe? We knew absolutely nothing about it until Influencers started reviewing it… then boom, everyone jumped on the bandwagon based on those reviews. But Mr Price skincare? Suddenly EVERYONE turns into a dermatologist questioning the quality, ingredients, and safety? This level of scrutiny is ONLY reserved for Mr Price because y’all associate it with being “low-class.” It’s wild. You’re out here being elitist while scraping by paycheck to paycheck just like the rest of us, poverty cosplaying as privilege? 😂 Desperate middle-class energy at its finest. Mr Price is reliable and trusted by the average South African. The average person in this country doesn’t wake up shopping at Zara or Foschini every day. Stop faking bougie when you’re broke, it’s actually embarrassing, we need to touch some grass 🤚🏽
