Development is not progress when women cannot study, work, or live freely.
Women’s rights should be the first condition and the main discussion—not a side note hidden behind economic achievements.
No one wants to live in a golden cage.

Women's rights are non-negotiable and must be demanded at every cost, but we should at least have the grace to call wrong what is wrong, while also praising the positive developments.

I find it so interesting how the Taliban ban women from education and want them out of politics and media, yet seem perfectly happy to accept praise from their female supporters online. Truly a rare aesthetic. 🤪🤣🤣🤣

I’d rather hear the opinion of someone who has actually lived in Afg and experienced daily life than the hypocrisy of someone who spent two weeks there on vacation, would leave asap, and would never want to live that way permanently.

People who visit Afg for a holiday be like: “Everything is normal. Social media is propaganda.”
I wonder what “not normal” looks like to them. If banning girls from school, work , forcing the burqa, and arrests are normal.
