Thank you everyone for your best wishes. It turns out I have broken the collar bone in three places (apparently not too bad; they had a motorcyclist on @MFT_MRI with 19!) It would have been far worse if I hadn't been wearing a helmet as I really whacked my head on the tarmac.

AtNewton Heath Library with @JuneCllr & @GlLamby71 with Alex and Kevin playing on the chess board made by my Grandad, William Isaac Simcock, a Labour Councillor in Stoke-on-Trent in the 1930s. Now on permanent loan here. Victory for Kevin in this first match on the board!
