It's good. Next time, let's carefully elect leaders with brains, integrity, and a clear vision for the people. Alot of our leaders even expressing themselves in shinda
Kenyan MPs are reportedly proposing measures to cushion wananchi from the high cost of fuel. However, when you examine some of their key proposals, it feels like mockery:
1) Engage banks to extend loan moratoriums for matatu owners.
2) Build strategic oil reserves.
3) Increase the use of electric vehicles.
Now tell me, how does any of that help 99% of Kenyans today?
Will it lower fuel prices next week? No.
Will it reduce transport fares? No.
Will it put more money in people's pockets? No.
Even electric vehicles are becoming expensive to run because electricity costs keep rising.
This is the problem: Parliament wants to look like it's doing something while avoiding the one thing Kenyans need, real relief from high fuel costs.
Kenyans are struggling. These proposals won't change that. Parliament has failed Kenyans, and they should stop assuming we can't see through the public relations exercise.
