Honoured to be asked to pick up the mic again and MC @Cricketphotogra book launch @PPCC_Cricket. Lovely words by @thervd. Great to see so many cricket friends on an emotional night reflecting on 20 years of snapping England cricket.

Great work by @JMUJournalism @merseysportlive Masters students during the @lancscricket media day, the chance to interview (the new captain) @jimmy9, always the icing on the cake. It’s become a yearly event for students to gain experience, always grateful to be involved.

One of the pleasures of my @SkySportsNews career focussing on cricket was dealing with administrators like Hugh. A very sad loss. RIP
Glamorgan County Cricket Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Glamorgan legend, trophy-winning captain and former CEO Hugh Morris MBE. Our thoughts are with Hugh's family, friends and colleagues at this very difficult time. 🔗 bit.ly/3YJoy46

High deserved praise.
One of the very best storytellers in television news — a master packager and writer — best wishes to you, Joe

Very moved by that and what test cricket means. As day in day out football gets set to dominate again, that was true sport played in a brilliant spirit, a cliche “cricket is the winner” but never more appropriate, it didn’t matter who won. This went beyond “come on England”.

Also: this only confirms my long held belief that it’s NOT “all about The Ashes”, that is disrespectful to other teams. And to test cricket. That was a better series that had it all, than all the Ashes battles since 2005.
