@JustinBleuel this is the most beautiful addition to chat got making it less friction and it just feels a part of the app. It’s so clean and easy to access the photos and camera now thank you so much. And the Liquid Glass animations 😩

📝 Turn any @ChatGPTapp to a note
Now you can turn any message from ChatGPT into an interactive writing block - just highlight chat's response and click Create Note
These can be saved to your library then retrieved / referenced in a future chat conversation

🆕 Updated model picker just dropped
I’m finding it both a lot simpler while still giving enough flexibility to use chatgpt how I want
How do you like it (or not)? Anything we missed?
We're making a small update to the model picker in ChatGPT! We know it's critical to a lot of people's work, and that we have a lot of paying users who care deeply about this one, so wanted to take some time to detail out the tweak.
One important point upfront – you'll still have access to the same models and reasoning levels, besides the removal of thinking-light (used by less than 1% of our paid users).
You'll see an updated list of options (similar to how Codex works):
- Instant
- Medium (Thinking-Standard)
- High (Thinking-Extended)
- Extra High (Thinking-Heavy) [for pro users]
- Pro (with option to choose Pro-Standard or Pro-Extended) [for pro users]
The intent is to make it easier to choose the balance of speed and effort that works best for your task.
We also took into account community feedback to make sure:
a) Thinking-heavy is easily accessible
b) Pro standard and Pro extended are easily accessible
c) We clearly communicate these changes

It's 5pm in NYC. I have a fresh iced americano. Time for a Bug-Free ChatGPT update:
TL;DR I threw Codex at it..
- First I had it make a Linear board using Computer Use
- Next I set a /goal to.... fix them!
- I let that run and got pings that PRs were going up
- I stopped it ~10hr in
- I then had Codex review its own PRs to update status
The ones that Codex labeled as in review were simple fixes and ready for testing it
I'm now starting to pull these down to review and 🚢

🆕 You can now write long-form in Chat
This is just another baby step in improving the writing exp in @ChatGPTapp

Let us know what you like about it and where it falls short!

Long-form writing works better with a little more space.
Now you can edit longer pieces in full-screen and save them to your Library to come back to later.
