Excited to share our recent work in @MyJSCAI reviewing the prognostic benefits of early coronary physiology assessment after HTx
🔸 ⬆️ baseline IMR & ⬇️ 1 yr FFR predict CAV
🔸 early microvascular dysfxn = 📈 risk for rejection
🔸 1 yr IMR a/w long term survival
Invasive coronary physiology goes beyond #angina diagnosis. This review shows #IMR #FFR #CFR is predictive of rejection & may carry more prognostic value than #IVUS early after heart transplant.
