If this angers you in any way, you are most likely the problem.
Overheard at my local pub: "I'm 60 years old and don't have enough money to retire and Elon Musk has a trillion dollars. Its a messed up world." The guy was sitting at a pub drinking $7 beers for like 3 hours.

WorkBench is a benchmark that tests AI agents on real workplace tasks. The best model in 2024: 43% completion, 26% harmful actions. The best model in 2026: 89% completion, 2.5% harmful actions. This gets me excited thinking about how good models will be in 2028.

Today is a big day. My veterans team will be playing hockey for 22 hours strait for veteran suicide awareness. I will be putting my body through hell to raise awareness and show the world that suicide is not the option.

I’m convinced the wealth gap is going to keep widening. Over the next decade, the traditional ‘middle class’ will disappear.

The older I get, the less impressed I am by people who are always busy.

Do not confuse posting on social media with actually moving the needle in your life.
Social media is often watching people get obsessed & emotionally invested in whatever the topic of the day is... And never move the needle in their own life. That energy could move mountains for their own lives and families.

There is nothing more important in life than family. This face does not care about my job, wins, losses, problems, or circumstances. She cares about me just being there. Just showing up to push her on a swing. I am beyond thankful for the life I live ❤️

Some thoughts from my recent trip to Poland with international partners: - AI is more serious in the US than anywhere else in the world. - We are the only people who think AI might end humanity. -EU is using AI more for innovation whereas US is using it for defense and profit.

I wonder who will become the Greta Thunberg of AI. I know it's coming.

Sometimes technology really pisses me off, and I wonder what it would be like to just live stoically.

What I really want for this world is abundance. The kind of abundance where people have enough time, peace, and opportunity to actually enjoy being alive. Whether AI gets us there is an open question. Some believe AI will end everything. Others believe it fixes everything. The truth is that neither of those outcomes is really about the technology. It comes back to people. Your values. Your morals. What you do with what you have been given. AI is a mirror. It reflects back whatever humanity puts into it. In the hands of people who are driven by greed, fear, and the desire for control, it becomes a weapon. In the hands of people who genuinely want to build something better, it becomes the most powerful tool in history. The utopia or the apocalypse were never AI outcomes. They were always human outcomes. We just now have a tool powerful enough to get us there faster in either direction. Which way we go has nothing to do with the models or the chips or the data centers. It has everything to do with who we decide to be. That has always been the only question that mattered.

You know one thing I love about European countries? Everybody goes outside and enjoys their life. Things move slower. Money is not their main concern. Life just…. is. Krakow, Poland.

If AI is going to take over low-priority tasks and give us more time to "be human"... I have one question: Will people actually be happier?

Yesterday I spent time with an IT consultant from Hungary, and it kind of blew my mind. I know we talk about AI being everywhere, but seeing it in real life puts things into a different perspective. People in Hungary know Anthropic. They use OpenAI. They understand the same things. So really, myself or anyone else in America with access to these tools has no advantage over someone in Hungary, or even crazier, some kid in Nigeria with WiFi. If compute and power start to become the main issues, then the U.S. will have the distinct advantage. That is what we are trying to solve for now. But for right now, the playing field is leveled.

I’m not too sure about this one….
President Trump has said that the White House may take equity stakes in American AI companies, after it was revealed they might take a stake in OpenAI, per Reuters
