Storm Risk on SUNDAY JUNE 14 ⏰ Mainly Evening and at night. 💻 This is the RRFS experimental model simulation. 📣 This is a SUGGESTION- NOT A Promise. 👉🏻 Check each image for the Suggestion here for 6 PM, 8 PM, and 10 PM: Multiple cells are possible in metro Baltimore. 🤔 One thing I’ve noticed lately is model timing has been slow. Makes me think: 👀 Look Out for the storms to form any time after 4 PM. 💨 Damaging Wind the most widespread risk. 🧊 Hail is possible and likely pea size, but can be quarter or larger in the strongest cells. 🌪️ There is a risk for rotation and a tornado or two across Central MD and the Chesapeake Bay. Reminder: Not all storms will produce these conditions. But if they do, then warnings will be issued. The good news is the late timing, unless you are traveling then. I’ll share what I can here. It’s always good to have a few sources just to make sure you get timely info. ✌️

Microburst caught on video in Crofton MD! ‼️ ⛈️ The Severe Thunderstorm on Friday evening June 12 produced 60 to 80 mph winds. 🎥 💨 The wind can be seen here with heavy rain shafts and even trees toppling. Christy Yeager Barbaran captured this near Davidsonville Rd and Jeffery Drive. 🌳 Lots of tree damage clean up today for sure. What do you think of this? #SevereWeather #microburst #Maryland

Did I speak too soon? 📡 Doppler Radar at 8:15 PM Fri June 12 ⚾️🌧️The line off rain has expanded Northward and will be clipping Baltimore with light rain at the Os Game. ⛈️ Still some lightning over Bowie to pass near Annapolis and Southern Maryland over the next hour.

Friday Evening Update (June 12) 👍 I think we are GOOD in Central Maryland. 💨The WNW Wind has lowered the humidity and beginning to dry us out. ⚾️ Os Game Looks GOOD! My boy is there with a friend, so you better win!!! 🌧️⛰️ 🌤️ The shower near Frederick is likely to dry up heading East. ⛈️ Central to Southeast VA still VERY STORMY. 🤔 Close call for Washington with the cell to your west.

Well, at least we have a record to show for this stuff. 🏆 🌡️ RECORD HIGH at BWI 97°F in Baltimore beat the 96°F on this date in 1914 - BEFORE there was an airport 😉 The peak Heat Index was 103°F

⚠️ ⛈️ Severe Thunderstorm WATCH Until 9 PM Fri June 12 Here We go Again... 📍In Central Maryland: Baltimore, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, PG, Anne Arundel Counties... Along The Bay through Southern Maryland. 💨Wind Gusts OVER 60 mph the main threat! ‼️If any storm reaches this level, a Warning will be issued. ⚡️Dangerous Cloud to Ground Lightning is possible even if storms do not turn severe. ⏰This is sill looking like a night-time event. 👀Watching AFTER 7 PM There may be two pulses of storms, one passing South of Baltimore, and the other arriving FROM the West After 8 PM.

2 PM FRI June 12 Update 🌡️Temperatures closing in on that record at BWI. We have a few more hours to get 2 more degrees and I think we will get there! 🥵 Heat Index over 100℉ 📍Annapolis wins MOST OPPRESSIVE in our region at 107℉ 🤔How is it by you? 🏊 By The Pool? 🐧 In The AC? 🏫 I know some schools are still in session, and I feel for all teachers and students stuck there.

⚠️ Today's Severe Storm Risk will once again primarily be 💨High Winds with gusts over 60 mph. Rainfall will be spotty, but can drop a quick 1/4" to 1/2" in spots. 🏆🌡️ First we are aiming for 96℉ at BWI to tie the record set on this date in 1914 ⛈️⏰ SUGGESTION from short range modeling is 8 PM to 10 PM to watch in Central Maryland and PA. Given the poor computer guidance performance, 👀I would look out for stray showers any time after 4 PM, but the main event to develop in the mountains and head EAST after 6 other 7 PM. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I am aware what I did here...

👀 Look closely at this! 💨 When the GUST front came through yesterday (Thu June 11) in Middletown MD, it pushed this chair so hard, it broke the armrest and lodged it around the pole. 📷 Robert Douglas took this and said there is a dent in this metal pole 4 Ft off the ground. 😳 ⚠️ Wind Damage is the top risk to new storms that may turn severe today. #SevereWeather #Maryland
