Belgiums, they used to cut off your hand or your child’s hand if you didnt fill your quota for the day. They sell ā€œchocolate handā€ candies today. If you dont think that’s absolutely DIABOLICAL then idk what to tell you
Community note
Long before the A of Antwerp functioned as a logo for the city, the hand was used as a symbol by both the province and the city itself. A direct reference to the myth of Brabo of how Antwerp originated. There is no correlation to the attrocities in Congo. brusselstimes.com/162991/bart-de… leadstories.com/hoax-alert/202… vrt.be/vrtnws/en/2023… amazingbelgium.be/2020/02/the-st… chocolateonlineshop.com/en/brands/antw… sjokolat.be/en/antwerp-han… mas.be/en/content/ant…

I've been doing machine learning for ~6 years. I've deployed models for some of the biggest companies in the world. And I still struggle with this thing. I barely remember "basic" concepts, and I still think Gradient Descent is really complex. Give yourself a break.
