Trying out a home made mast for an EnFed Antenna. Itβs one of the 18foot fiberglass flag poles that you see with the flags for advertising in front of Buisnesses. Didnβt hear much but, it worked! NOTE: itβs not the streetlight π

Our clubβs location for Field Day this year is at Brannan Island State Park. Weβve reserved the Group sites! There is an amazing amount of space for camping βΊοΈ and set ups. If nothing else bring your fishing π£ gear. Weβre right on the water. Where there is a small pier.

Picked up a #Vintage #Realistic TRC-28. 3 channel , crystal AM C.B. Walkie Talkie. It stands about 10 inches tall and is about 1 lb. All chrome front face. It came in pristeen condition. Not a scratch on it! It works too. It came out in 1975-77. Loving it! $25 off eBay.

Picked up an #Alinco DR-635 2M/440 Mobile/Base radio off Marketplace. Love how the function buttons light up. Great for in the car or night ops.

Well I βbrickedβ the UV-32!! π₯²π₯² it has Bluetooth in it to program. I was trying it out and hit something and well, it whiped out everything. I canβt get it to come out of VFO mode and it wonβt transmit either, the only thing that works is GPS. There is no Reset either.

It says to go to βMenu 27β. There is no Menu 27. Tried another way and it didnβt work either.

Personalized my UV-32 ! Found a sticker maker on Etsy. $10. Works on the DM-32 also. Good quality it looks like it will stick a long time the Baofeng sticker was hard to get off. It came off though.

Couldnβt help it. Picked this #Alinco DJ-580 up off eBay. Iβve had the radio before but one time I forgot it was on the roof of my car and it ended up destroyed on the #GoldenGateBridge π₯² after it fell off. So, far works well. Just need a new battery. πͺ«

Update on the DJ-580. It wouldnβt transmit on VHF plus some itβs setting were off. I found the directions on line and how to RESET. It worked! Now itβs working fine and I have put in a few repeaters with good signal reports. Plus itβs unlocked! And it picks up AIR and 800 MHz

A HAM friend had an extra DM-32 that he sold me. Itβs Digital and Analog. Iβve been fooling around with it and have come to realize I donβt like it. Like the UV-32 much better. Iβm not a digital guy so, not into it. The Analog is fine though. I donβt even talk on digital.

Picked up a #Baofeng UV-32. Transmits on 2M/220/440/GMRS/FRS/MURS/Buis/Marine. It has GPS and Bluetooth to program BUT the App suck gets 1/2 way while reading then crashes. Has a plastic holster but no way to secure the radio ,so if your running it will fall right out. 1/2
