#NFL the commissioner should be a fan voted position and a re-vote should occur every 3/4 years. We are the ones that give it a reason to exist and we should have a say in it. With sports gambling so wide spread now, the fans should be able to have someone in place to protect them from storylines and favors.

Hey #ChiefsKingdom , check this out! Patrick Mahomes is from Whitehouse, Tx. which is about 2 hours from the stadium he will be playing in today. He played in an All American bowl in that stadium his Sr. Year of High School and 3 college football games in that stadium. The last time he played there, his last year of college, he led the Red Raiders to a 54-35 victory throwing for 586 yards and 6 touchdowns. Before he was drafted by the Chiefs, he was a Cowboy fan all the way to the bone. Tony Romo was his hero (wonder how he feels about his now?). The only other time he played the Cowboys was in 2021, at Arrohead, when the Chiefs won 19-9. Patrick didn’t play that well (260 yards, no tds, an int and a fumble) but Clyde and Travis both scored rushing touchdowns in that game. Patrick Mahomes was 67 days old the ONLY other time the Chiefs and Cowboys played on Thanksgiving. Cowboys won that game 24-12 (and won the Super Bowl that season). Chiefs knocked Emmitt Smith out of that game in the 3rd quarter. There are two players I could find who will be playing in today’s game who are from the area - Patrick Mahomes and one of his offensive tackles in that same 54-35 victory in college (Terrance Steele who now plays right tackle for the Cowboys.) This is a literal HOMECOMING game for Patrick Mahomes and a “get right” opportunity for him if I’ve ever seen one before.
