Yesterday, DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin announced something that should stop every parent cold: the Trump administration has located 146,000 unaccompanied migrant children who were allowed to vanish under the previous administration.ย
And where are most of them being found? Sanctuary cities.
Seattle is a sanctuary city. King County has proudly worn that label. When you strip away the branding, what "sanctuary" meant was shielding traffickers from federal enforcement while kids disappeared into the shadows.
We owe a debt of gratitude to President Trump and ICE, Homeland Security Investigations, Customs and Border Protectionโthe men and women who are going door to door, cutting through local obstruction, and rescuing children our own policies abandoned.

Los Angeles is realizing what weโve known in Seattle for awhile. When the dust settles on Election Day, itโs not who leads then that counts; itโs who the system "finds" later.
Look at the 2025 Seattle Mayoral race. Bruce Harrell led by over 8,000 votes on Election Day. By November 25th? Katie Wilson "found" her way into City Hall by a slim 2,011-vote margin, just enough to avoid an automatic recount.
We were told it was just "young voters showing up late." But when a system mandates mail-in-only, same-day registration, and no citizenship verification, the "shift" isn't organic, it's inevitable.
Seattle voters value experience, credentials, and competence. Yet, we ended up with a result that even lifelong liberals on NextDoor are still scratching their heads over.
We aren't against voting access. We are against a system that invites the shadow of corruption. If you value election integrity, itโs time to move beyond complaining and start acting.

Breaking: A Seattle neighborhood declares WAR against pimps shooting up Aurora Avenue while engaging in turf wars over prostitutes.
Residents say they have been constantly dodging bullets since the city decriminalized prostitution in 2020, resulting in open-air sex trafficking and an increase in gun violence.
If the city refuses to address the yearslong issue, some residents want President Trump to intervene and order a federal crackdown.
