Former Mrs. Irish Fest and matriarch of one of Kansas City’s great Irish families, Patty Regan passed away on Sunday and Mayor Q took notice.

Along the trail you meet special people. As a councilman I got to know Patty Regan. She was a Midtown stalwart with a bright smile, a love for Browne’s Irish Market, and a devotion to our city. She left us recently, but we were all better for having known her.
