On Insta. 0 awards. 26th-best option. 13-time disappointment. Bad opinions, worse ideas. We don't have a lane, we drive in them all. Voted worst employee 3x.
Sinus trouble off and on for two weeks now. Trying to get motivated to finish up a batch of pedals as there's another batch right behind it.
After I get done with the few that pay some bills, I'll be back onto the prototype combos.
The prototypes are more fun in some ways but also more time-consuming to build. But I need some unique design features because there are already enough clones of clones out there. Otherwise you're just jamming more of the same into an already overcrowded market.
Check out @Trash_Box_FX for more pedal content. I'm gonna try to do a better job of separating my various endeavors so as to make less of a mess on here.
I definitely like the idea of really exotic colors for my effects pedal builds, but in practice painting all these boxes especially only 1-2 the same color is time-consuming. The extra $2 for powder coated even if they're basic colors is an easy sell for me.
I'm trying to backdoor a way to setup a powder coat booth at work for doing work samples...but really my motivation is using it after hours to do the fun colors. I really don't want another coating operation at my house. For obvious reasons.
Not real big on these Amazon pots. About 20% are bad out of the box or after you solder once. Glad to almost be done with those. Spend the extra 10 cents and get real stuff. It's an asinine place to save pennies imo.
Any time someone asks me how to haul a kayak or canoe on their vehicle I have to fight the urge to yell, "Face down, ass up!"
The 90s in the suburbs were kinda weird.
Conservatives are a trip. They can spend their whole day saying, "fuck this, fuck you, and fuck anyone for disagreeing." Then anyone not conservative responds, "No, fuck you," and then suddenly the responder is the intolerant one. What a bunch of fucking snowflakes.
With regards to social media and the current foolishness, I'm just gonna go about my business.
In that vein, learning to paint letters is fucking hard. There's no shortcut.
I need to get a proper speaker cab. This one ain't cutting it.
I'm discovering that until you learn the feel of the paint when it's the correct consistency it's a waste of time. The paint consistency is a huge key I didn't get the first time. It makes way more sense now.
