@KCSARC has three dogs involved in the search. Lincoln is a flat coated retriever, an air scent dog. Lincoln will search an area and find all humans.

Coulee is a Golden Retriever, a tracking dog. Coulee will take a scent and follow it along a trail. We are extremely grateful to @KCSARC for helping search for Scott.

Our two UH-1 “Huey” rescue helicopters. Both of these aircraft are former military, and were made in 1970. One served in the Army and the other in the USAF. Neither went overseas. They continue serving now, saving lives across the state.

A less glamorous part of search & rescue life is the "turnaround" when a missing subject is found just as you are about to arrive at incident command. It’s a great outcome and sometimes a beautiful drive back home!
