I don't know who came up with this idea of teaching two cohorts of kids (some in person, socially distanced, some online) simultaneously but it's wrong. It's two jobs. It's not good for kids, and it's not good for teachers.
I have been a teacher for over two decades. I have never felt this uncertain, stressed, and tired. I am teaching in-person and online - 12 hour days, routinely in classes I have taught for years. I wake up every day and think about quitting.
