I got this email today that reminded me of my why after a challenging week. I believe every child can succeed. I’m glad my PreK colleagues and I made a difference for a little girl who needed a lot of love. Belonging and inclusion matter to me.

Spreading some holiday joy at BWI this morning on my way to visit family. Bringing holiday activities for little ones to do on their flights has brought smiles to the faces of little ones and more holiday fun for me too.

Playful learning and structured teaching may seem to be opposing philosophies but they actually go together to meet diverse needs. Thanks to the SLES Special PreK team for learning together. It’s been a great couple of days.
