New report on "Privacy and Democratic Engagement" with @KKmarfo just presented at International Conference of Privacy and Data Protection Commissioners in Tirana. #ICDPPC2019icdppc.org/wp-content/upload…
The main lesson is for United fans to accept that their former players can do well when they move on and that is fine. Else why should other clubs pay decent fees when United must sell a player?
The problem really is why a media house will call Kohn's uncle. What was the goal here? Were all the risks considered? Now the same media is asking Kohn to rein in his family. What is this?
The moment you actually start putting a 26 person squad list together, reality will set in. Once you see those who may have to be left behind, it will be clear that there's actually no free space to sacrifice
Wilcox, Carrick and Vivell must be having sleepless nights.
#Mufc choosing about two from Anderson, Scott, Wharton, Baleba, M Fernandes, Garner...
Others like Tchouameni, Tonali mentioned. Then ...
also choose which two youth midfield prospects to give a proper chance next season:
Thwaites, Tyler and Jack Fletcher, Devaney, Moorhouse, Kone, Collyer, Gore and Orozco. Good problems.
Time for Ghana fans and journos to push more for Augustine Boakye to get a chance. Guy solves a lot of our midfield problems. Able to pass, carry and do well in both boxes. With him, Kudus, Partey ... There's enough creativity to service our plenty wingers and striker
Platform players comfortable on the ball, have good press resistance & pass variation. The Boakye, Ashimeru, Kyere types. If many of the players treat the ball like hot potato, there will be constant pressure on you in each World Cup game like Germany did.
Also, get Hudson, Acheampong, Nketiah, Ache, Rome-Jayden, Ansah etc if you can even if not for the WC. We really need to raise the technical and high competition experience levels. We need to be humble and accept that truth if we want to be competitive.
After these two friendlies, it is clear that Ghana needs to be humble and go all out to upgrade the Black Stars squad. The only non negotiables are Partey, Jordan, Kudus, Djiku, Caleb, Salisu, Semenyo, Fatawu. It is not about who played qualifiers.
What a problematic framing! This could have easily been an opportunity to encourage more African kit designs and designers. But no, it is not only ranked last here but also presented as probably designed by a "committee member" who thought "it can be that hard".
Take a look at the Uganda kit at this year's Africa Cup of Nations and you might spot the manufacturer's name 'Janzi’.
Never heard of it? That is because it is an outlier, a brand set up by Uganda's football association to make their kit. And you can tell.
Their effort comes bottom of our AFCON kit rankings but there are some absolute beauties on show, featuring massive eagles, the influence of Tunisian carpets and plenty more besides.

WELCOME GHANA ARMED FORCES
A fifty-four (54) member Engineer Contingent from the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) arrived in Jamaica last evening to assist Jamaica in its recovery and rebuilding efforts following the passage of Hurricane Melissa.
Time for Josh Acheampong, Hudson Odoi and Nketiah to switch to Ghana. No better incentive. Ghana v England; Senegal v France ... Decolonization fixtures 😃
Good take. Our country must figure out what it is or what it wants to be. The episodic approach to everything for its sake is confusing and unhelpful. What if all the TI Ahmadiyya schools decide to force Islam on students and prevent students from practising Christianity?

Wrote this piece in about half an hour after news reached me that the Attorney General had filed responses in the Wesley Girls case.

At OWASS we had Catholic mass, Protestant service and a praying area for Muslims. Nothing broke. We have the state funding these schools, and controlling these schools through policy, so why the pretense that these are some autonomous private schools that can't be checked.
We go nowhere if the state wants to treat everything as some separate distinct episode. Everything is connected. What do you want to be as a country? Religious pluralism? Secular state? Pandering state? Don't shun the clever thinking needed to make this salad of a country work.
Football must not normalize the idea that a talented player must be worth 100m. Clubs should know that it is rare to find a 100m player who came and took his new club to the next level. It is very rare, so paying 100m or close must be very rare too. Don't trivialize 100m.
