Another great W against another top end opponent for @SoftballWatkins Gracie G & Ava B with 3 hits and Bryna with 2 including a 2R 💣Defense was good again and Mo kept the Lions offense down just enough to let us get the W. She made some clutch pitches against top end hitters.

Exciting, come from behind W tonight for @SoftballWatkins over a solid Pacers squad. XBH’s from Bryna, Ava and Sierra plus a 💣from Gracie G. Sierra with a run saving catch in RF in the 7th. Cori gave up 0 runs after the 3rd. 1 more regular season game tomorrow.

Ended the week w/ a W. @SoftballWatkins had multiple players with 2 hits including Alli with 4, Addison/Ava L/Marlee all with 2 plus Ava B with 2 including a HR to LF in the 5th. Mo started and Lily and Cori closed the door in innings 3-6. Now we get ready for the Jackets.

We battled through the early innings and overcame a 3 run deficit to best the Aces. Big 2R 💣 by Hannah in the 4th to pull us to 4-3. Then she hit a 3R shot in the 5th to cap off a 7R 5th inning. Alli w/ 2x2B, Emma w/ a 2B and Bryna reached 3X. Mo picked up the W in relief.

A huge LCL win for @SoftballWatkins tonight. Some huge catches by Bryna in CF, Marlee in LF & Coffman at 3B to help the defense make just enough plays to survive. Bryna, Emma and Ava all had 💣 and Bryna reached base 3 more X to help lead the offense.

@SoftballWatkins hosted the Warrior Classic. Fantastic softball teams at this event. The Warriors go 1-1. On the day, Allie 3/6 2RBI; Ava 3/7 6RBI; Jellison 4/6 3 RBI; Bryna 3/7 2RBI; Gracie 3/4 3RBI including a 💣 Couldn’t get 2 out hits in gm1 but gm2 the bats were on fire.

We couldn’t quite keep the offensive momentum rolling tonight. Great start to the @SoftballWatkins game tonight but baserunning, defense and offense just could not stay up with the Yellowjackets. Gracie G had a good game at the plate 2/3 with a 2B & 3R HR.

Another W for @SoftballWatkins over a good opponent. Great team effort to push across 16 runs. Defense played well enough to let the offense get going and keep the lead. Marlee G had a day (4/5) with the grand slam, 7 rbi & Ava B had her 1st varsity 💣. Warriors bats were 🔥

Scrimmage #2 in the books for @SoftballWatkins More opportunities to get live ABs & pitch to another team. We had some really good defensive plays & ABs but had some other places where we need to continue to work. Hannah w/ her 1st varsity HR. Good luck to the Eagles this spring

What a great night to get our 1st @SoftballWatkins scrimmage in against Sheridan. 23 girls got reps & had quite a few high points offensively & defensively. Mo & Cori pitched pretty well & we hit the ball hard up & down the order including SR Gracie B with her 1st HR in the 6th.

Wrapped up LCL play for @SoftbaWatkins with a 10-3 W over the Blue Aces. Tons of good ABs tonight up & down the lineup tonight. Pitching worked out of a couple jams. @KylieeTrouten Marlee G & Gracie G all with 💣. 2 more regular season games & then the tournament starts next week

We finally were able to get the game w/ Zanesville in around the ⚡️🌩️. We put up runs in all 4 innings, had hits from 7 kids and Jacy and Shelby both hit their first career varsity HR. Lily came in and struck out the side in the fifth to seal the run rule.

A nice evening for a game. Quite a bit of offense by both teams. The slightly warmer temps let the bats heat up for @SoftballWatkins including 💣 by @AlliLangwasser Bryna D & Gracie G. @KendalTellings went 4/4 & Jacy S picked up her first varsity W in the ⭕️. Go Warriors!
