I don't talk much about my personal life online, especially when it comes to loss, but I've been trying to celebrate the small victories lately I lost my dad last year, and life has felt different ever since. Memorial Day was especially hard because it was a reminder of a tradition that we haven't done since his passing~ For most holidays, he'd fire up the grill, and I'd stand beside him while he tried to teach me everything he knew with everyone else in the garage hanging out. He was really damn good at cooking The grill has mostly just sat in the garage collecting dust since his passing. But alas, I decided I didn't want that tradition to disappear. Idk if it is to honor him, to keep the tradition alive or to just feel some sense of normalcy since his passing but I decided I wanted to learn to grill I messaged my expert chef friend Biscuit and without asking questions and with hella excitment he said he would walk me through the whole process and teach me how to grill~ Now every Saturday I spend a couple hours in call with friends learning the basics of how to grill My mom said it tasted just like his! I can tell shes super excited about it all because she keeps buying me new grilling tools/accessoreis. Yes, this is just a long rant about grilling but I'm proud of myself and hey, maybe he'd be proud to~ („• ֊ •„)

GUYS ITS HAPPENING ITS FINALLY HAPPENING!!! 🏳️‍⚧️ I officially get to meet with the gender health specialist THIS MONTH to begin the process of starting Testosterone!!! If everything goes according to plan I should start hormone therapy beginning to mid July ✨🌈 HAPPY PRIDE MONTH YIPPIEEEE~ If anyone on T has any advice, anything that surprised them, or just something they wis they knew I would appreciate any and all experiences you wanna share about that process 💕
