On Thursday, a group of interns got to tour KYTC operations! The interns started the day with a presentation from KYTC leadership, learned about extensive testing that goes into the materials used on our roadways and bridges, and then ended the day at the Capitol City Airport.

A Flood Watch is in effect for most of the area today through Tuesday evening. Widespread amounts of 1-2.5" of rain are expected. Localized 3-6" are possible which may flood low water crossings and creeks overflowing banks. Turn around, don't drown across flooded roadways!

The Kentucky State Police Driver Testing Branch will be closed June 4-5, 2026, and will conduct no driver testing services during that time. This includes written tests, road tests, and CDL testing. Driver testing services will resume when offices reopen on Monday, June 8. (1/2)
