Okay… so here’s my official post lol Thank you @THECC_NYC & thank YOU guys so much for seeing me. This is absolutely a result of your recommendations last year paired with the work I tirelessly put into the music space I love so dearly to make sure emerging artists feel seen & heard. It was my goal at one point to make it on 30 under 30, and I was so discouraged when that didn’t happen. This recognition coming DIRECTLY from my peers during a time when I’m finally stepping into my light more authentically means SO much more. Very proud to be a part of the 2025 #CCNYCCreativeClass alongside my incredible peers. We are the culture forreal. 🖤

Our film is nominated for an Oscar, the community it is about is now under attack by settlers.

Snoop performed for Trump because he got Paid too by republicans. Kamala had people performing because they got paid by democrats. Many whom didn’t believe in her agenda or care for politics, The culture responds to money because we don’t have a collective code. You can’t hold people accountable when there’s no standard we agree upon, or enforceable consequence besides momentarily backlash.

I am so numb. I am so angry. I am so broken. I am sobbing. I am cautious about hope. I am reaching for relief. The only thing that is clear is the work still ahead of us to hold Israel to account, to make sure none of this happens again, to help Gaza rebuild, to Free Palestine.

The war hasn't ended yet; we are waiting until Sunday. I hope everyone stays safe!
