The UN Security Council on Monday unanimously adopted a resolution extending the mandate of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) for another year, allowing the mission to continue operating until June 17, 2027. The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. Kabul time tomorrow (Monday, June 15) and will be available to watch online.
