Four lines in Joseph Heller's Catch-22 brilliantly sum up Trump, his men, and the ethos of Trumpism:

"'Debauched jasmine' rendered musky from Laotian oud, sweet from vanilla, and fresh from bergamot lies at the heart of Al Khatt, an eau de parfum from Xerjoff that seems more like an attar in its concentrated richness." My 2014 review: kafkaesqueblog.com/2014/04/0…

Re Post, I love how the unspoken obligatory rule is that your first post should include a dog, cat, pet photo. AND they've got an Edit button for comments! It will probably be extended to posts as well. Lot of news, law, politics there but also photography, BlackPost, & more.

BYW, to sign up for Post, you don't need a referral or invitation. The sign-up link below was shared only to make things easier for everyone who might be interested. I really hope to see everyone there. I spend 5x longer there than here & the number is growing daily. Love Post!
I really hope all of you will sign up for Post. I may delete this account soon. Some things I can no longer tolerate. Persevering serves little use as I think I'm being shadow banned & I've also lost roughly 20% of my followers. My Post referral link: post.news/?r=7lq32

Ooof about Oudh Infini. 😪 TY for letting me know. Regret aside, I think she's doing the exact thing that all perfume houses should do but don't. Good for her!! 👏 @ParfumsDusita

On that note, Dusita is discontinuing Oud Infini. Pissara can no longer source the materials, so other than reformulate the formula, she has decided to no longer manufacture. I did like it, but oud has worn on me, except for Floris Honey Oud, still have some.

Post is adding people gradually, like in batches of 10,000 or 20,000 out of a 360,000 wait list, but they don't want to add too many at once before finishing creating safety features like blocking or ensuring ♿. Right now, the roughly 67,000 members are acting as Beta testers.

Love it, even in its Beta stage! The interface & look is so similar. They work hard to fix bugs, ensure safety, be transparent, & listen to people. Also care abt ensuring civility. There are a lot of features that still need to be added, tho. No referral is needed to join, btw.

I wanted to update you on the fragrances that are on tap to be reviewed in the short-term & long-term, that are still to be tested, that won't be reviewed, & issues which may impact my schedule on both a #scent & personal level. From Agar Aura to Xerjoff: kafkaesqueblog.com/2022/11/2…

Reposting my review of Chanel's Le Lion, a fragrance that I loved from the start, so much so that I bought the largest bottle possible soon after my second test. #scent kafkaesqueblog.com/tag/chane…

20. An existentialist statement about travelers leaving a part of themselves behind is also, imo, applicable to the modern worker. Remove the suitcase, add a briefcase, and you have the fragmenting, lost, overwhelmed modern Man/Woman/Worker in today's world. By Bruno Catalano:

24. The Veiled Virgin: as long as I live, I'll never understand how sculptor Giovanni Straza took solid marble and made it look translucent, sheer, wispy, and moving. Incredible workmanship and artistry, simple exquisite art.
