โฆbut LW immediately responded, scoring four of their own with RBIs from Shane Johnson, Malachi Toungate, Aidan Mehlberg, and Noah Kwon. The Kang bullpen took care of the rest, with seniors Memphis Henderson and Andrew Dean combining for 3 shutout innings to close things out.

Lake Washington will open KingCo Crown league play on Monday, traveling to Eastlake to take on the Wolves as part of a JV/Varsity doubleheader. First pitch of JV set for 3:30โPM, with the Varsity game to follow at 6:15 PM.

Senior Mason Smithwick tossed four shutout innings, while fellow โ25 Brady OโCain doubled and drove in 2, as Lake Washington opened up the 2025 season with a 6-0 win over Bainbridge.

Smithwick was efficient on this night, working 4 strong innings allowing just 3 first inning hits while striking out 3, picking up the win. Bainbridge would respond with 3 runs off โ27 Oliver Stevens in the bottom of the 5th, but he would settle down and pitch a scoreless 6th.
