tbh agree with the trajectory:
(1) abstraction is key - you see the progression from single chain trading terminals/tools like Banana -> half-abstracted Shuriken -> something that's fully abstracted like Azura, and;
(2) adding social trading on top of that makes this even more powerful, as we've seen with FOMO;
But with social trading as it stands, there isn't really any real incentive for people to be "right" long-term & it incentivizes people to be "loud"; like you really see this with KOLs buying a coin & then posting a thesis about it, only to sell it like 15 minutes later; it's actually crazy.
And with that, I think you should totally check out @KarmaWallet - this is something @amrix_j gets, and obviously, the app is more than just the social trading aspect of it; and they've got a token where all the value flows back to it - so I think it's really interesting.
icl it feels like a culmination of the best of the industry thus far, and where the future of trading might go towards, tied into one token and one app.

A lot of alphas for solana:CmUnSFZCKUFGs2L8eZGQukAj833Y8r2SiJav55Nnrihd dropped in here. The most interesting one is the thesis rev share social feature. If executed correctly, Karma would become the first social app experience that actually rewards traders and creators based on whether their calls played out, not just engagement or volume. That is the key difference between this and X rev share or PF creator fees, which simply pay for attention and end up rewarding shillers over researchers.
Currently speaking with the dev in regards to the implementation details. My push is that the payout should be based on the quality of the thesis and whether it actually played out (positive pnl over a certain time horizon, timestamped at the moment of posting). That version of the feature pays traders for being right instead of being loud, which brings higher caliber traders onto the platform. In turn that onboards more users, as people want to be exposed to an environment with provably profitable callers.
If this ships volume based it is just another fee share. If it ships performance gated, then Karma distinguishes itself from every other app on the market.
A very good start in the right direction.
Don't just see this for what's in front of you, but see what this can become.
