Ruby Bridges is only 66 years old. Was the first Black student to integrate an elementary school in the South. Another reminder that this history was not long ago at all.

Happy birthday to Ruby Bridges, who desegregated William Frantz Elementary School in New Orleans at age 6 in 1960. She inspired this Norman Rockwell painting, “The Problem We All Live With.”
