Very happy to announce publication of my book in November with @stanfordpress. It follows young Egyptian men as they struggle to locate fulfilling jobs and relationships in a capitalist system that encourages people to dream but delivers insecurity. Book launches to follow!

Off to London to run a @loudnumbers ‘punk sonification’ workshop at @LSEnews Fringe Festival. Today I’ll be helping students and staff turn data into sound using just their voices, everyday objects, and some percussion instruments I borrowed from my 1yo daughter.

Just as data can be visualised, it can also be sonified. Learn to add audio to your visualisations, tell data stories with sound, or even create pieces of music driven by data. Students and staff all welcome. And there's even a free lunch! #lsefringe apps.lse.ac.uk/training-syst…

As part of a project on @Geoethics_ , I had the privilege of working with an amazing group of writers from Otago, NZ, offering their responses to #FouldenMaar: a geological site, home to past, present and future stories of the Earth. See #Geopoetics here: rareearth-art.com/foulden-ma…

So so thrilled to be able to share the wonderful work of a group of writers, who offered up their thoughts and words in response to the Foulden Maar site in Otago, New Zealand. #Fouldenmaar #geopoetics #geoethics See their Geopoetic work here: rareearth-art.com/foulden-ma…
