So @OctopusEnergy 3 months on:
1. You brought the wrong cable
Then
2. Your engineer was too hungover to stay
Then
3. You rewired the garage back wrongly & dangerously
Then
3. You didn’t have our appointment (we have 3 confirmation emails)
And…
Still no charger😡. Disgusting
If you are considering @OctopusEnergy please avoid. The cost of the ‘free’ charger so far in emergency repair call outs after their work, unpaid leave, paying for non-existent fitting, public charging and cancelled Christmas train tickets is over £1200.
Absolutely appalling.
After cancelling our Christmas travel plans @OctopusEnergy promised the engineer would come today to fit our car charger, 4th attempt, we just got a call to say no one is coming. Absolute lying shambles. We even checked last night & this morning. Disgusting. Come & get your car.
And the absolutely worst customer service award of 2025 goes to @OctopusEnergy Hours of wasted time, poor sign posting, lost income from days off when they send no engineer or 2 engineers with no cable! Car for 6 weeks, still no charger in sight. Outstandingly poor.
The removal of a dementia diagnosis target is unacceptable.
It sends the message that dementia doesn’t matter and highlights a staggering lack of focus on a devastating condition that affects nearly a million people in the UK.

Recently I helped celebrate 10 years of the incredible @alzheimerssoc Time for Dementia programme, buddying up families navigating dementia with Medical and Clinical Students to build their confidence & understanding of the wider impacts of the condition. Such a fab team 💙
What a wonderful day with our @alzheimerssoc teams in #Plymouth The Executive Directors and I have been hearing all about their work in Finance and Fundraising 💙💙💙
This was one of my career highlights. Such a privilege to meet someone so seminal in the field of Alzheimer’s Disease research - not a scientist, but one of our very own @alzheimerssoc Dementia Advisors at one point!! She is my inspiration that one person can change the world. 💙
Did you catch 'The Jennings vs Alzheimer's' on @BBCTwo last night?
Last year @KateLeeCEO visited them to talk about their incredible achievements, their dementia journey and to ask them to be Vice-Presidents of Alzheimer’s Society.
