Just over 12 months ago @victoriauninews launched the First Year Model, and what a year it has been! With my fantastic team we have delivered 50,300 hours of F2F Block teaching to 4300 students, 34,462 student results, 85% pass or better. Go Team, #VUFYM, #highered

People truly agonise over their PhDs. Actual agonies of doubt & anxiety. When I read a thesis as an examiner I am always struck by the immense achievement & the investment of care. It concerns me that perhaps the authors never truly recognise what they have created #PhDLife

My 3-year-old daughter said she wanted to be a professor, so I asked her what professors do. "Talk to each other, drink wine, and put trees on their heads." Sounds about right.
