This is simply heart breaking news. Kathy was a true champion for higher education and - more than anything- for people and institutions working to improve the lives of Michiganders. I learned a tremendous amount from her. May her memory be a blessing.

Very sad news today: Kathy Wilbur, a fixture in the Capitol community spanning the past 5 decades, died this morning. She was 70 and had sudden recurrence of cancer. A friend and mentor to many during her work in the legislative and executive branches and 20 years in higher ed.
