Secondary pupils are being advised to take at-home COVID-19 tests before they return to school tomorrow, (Thurs 6 Jan) to limit the spread of Omicron. Young people without symptoms should do a lateral flow (LFD) test the night before or on the morning of the return to classes.

I’d be really grateful if lots of my hospital based colleagues could answer. Does your clinical area expect families to return to it after a loved ones death to collect either belongings or a death certificate? @NES_Bereavement Please retweet to spread. Thank you.

Due to rising material costs, our National 5 Metalwork qualification would benefit from financial sponsorship from a local company. This subject has a very high pass rate and provides a valuable practical engineering pathway for pupils. Please contact the school if you can help

If any local company is interested in supporting the national 5 metalwork qualification at the academy, please contact the school. You would have access to a number of excellent candidates for any vacancies!
