We honor the lives we lost 23 years ago today. We're forever grateful for the bravery of the flight crews, firefighters, police officers, EMTs, DOT employees, transportation workers, and other first responders who stepped up to help each other in the face of terrorism.

Fun fact on a sad day: Ike & Tina Turner played @GVSU (then GVSC) in 1971 to a record crowd of 3500. Students complained about the $3.50 price of admission, but when they played "Proud Mary" it "set the whole place afire," according to the @GVLanthorn RIP to a true legend.
