Spent the afternoon with close friend Dean Lockwood, Director of Player Development at Michigan State. It would be hard to find a better person than Dean, plus he is one of the best teachers of the fundamentals of the game. It’s been fun watching his success through the years!

Don’t overcomplicate life. Be in the present moment and take control of the things you can such as your attitude, effort, self-talk, self-discipline, and your coach-ability. It’s amazing how things come together when you keep your life as simple as possible.

Today, our nation honors our fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. During my 12 years at West Point, I worked with & learned from some of the most outstanding people that I have ever met. They were brave, selfless, caring & humble. I think of them daily.
