A nurse referred to me as the tech (twice) after I introduced myself as the resident.
She later “apologized” stating that normally doctors are dressed nicely, which is why she didn’t recognize me (I’m in blue figs scrubs and a patagonia) aka what every resident wears 🙃

While other colleagues have already posted, I felt compelled to amplify the anti-DEI movement happening in the main dermatology professional society @AADskin! A group of members have put forth a resolution to sunset all DEI programs. **Only 3% of dermatologists are Black.
