Let me trace the timeline here because nobody's connecting it. Step 1: Scrape the entire internet. Every book, every article, every conversation, every piece of art, every forum post. Do it without asking. Do it without paying. Step 2: Train a model on all of it. Call it "artificial intelligence." Step 3: Go to BlackRock's Infrastructure Summit and announce: "We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter." Step 3 is where you sell people's own knowledge back to them. On a meter. They took the collective output of human thought, compressed it into a model, and now they want to charge you by the token to access a version of what you and everyone you know already created. One Reddit user put it perfectly: "They stole all this data from us, the people, our life's work, creativity, art, by devouring the internet and blowing through all copyright laws. Now they want to sell it back to us in the form of a utility." Imagine if someone photocopied every book in the public library, burned the library down, and then opened a subscription service for the copies. That's the metered intelligence business model. And they're pitching it to infrastructure investors as though they invented water.
SAM ALTMAN: “WE SEE A FUTURE WHERE INTELLIGENCE IS A UTILITY, LIKE ELECTRICITY OR WATER, AND PEOPLE BUY IT FROM US ON A METER.”

In this first US series, catheter ablation of VAs with a lattice-tip RFA/PFA catheter appeared effective and generally safe. Caution should be exercised when applying PFA in proximity to exposed conductors of implantable cardiac devices. jacc.org/doi/10.1016/j.jacep… #JACCCEP #HRS2026

Nice inferior infarct VT substrate mapping with Affera/Sphere-9 using the live activation vector to show the clear line of block. Big splits across the line with the vector flip agreeing with a line of block. #ablateVT @BIDMC_VT @davilandre @MDT_EPAblation

The United States Postal Service, USPS, doesn’t “lose” money. It costs money. It’s a public service. Don’t fall for the privatization propaganda.

I'm not one for New Year's resolutions or any of that, but if I may be bold enough to make a suggestion, read a book, preferably a novel, for just five minutes every night before bed. We know via scientific brainwave studies that it will improve your mental health and give you more empathy. My wish for you all: May 2026 be your best year yet. 💙

This is not a dire wolf. They cannot do de-extinction. They can just tweak living animals to have primitive features. This company is going to make designer zoo animals. They will be isolated, lonely, and a shadow of their loving relatives. Real scientists support conservation.
SOUND ON. You’re hearing the first howl of a dire wolf in over 10,000 years. Meet Romulus and Remus—the world’s first de-extinct animals, born on October 1, 2024. The dire wolf has been extinct for over 10,000 years. These two wolves were brought back from extinction using genetic edits derived from a complete dire wolf genome, meticulously reconstructed by Colossal from ancient DNA found in fossils dating back 11,500 and 72,000 years. This moment marks not only a milestone for us as a company but also a leap forward for science, conservation, and humanity. From the beginning, our goal has been clear: “To revolutionize history and be the first company to use CRISPR technology successfully in the de-extinction of previously lost species.” By achieving this, we continue to push forward our broader mission on—accepting humanity’s duty to restore Earth to a healthier state. But this isn’t just our moment—it’s one for science, our planet, and humankind. All of which we love and are passionate about. Now, close your eyes and listen to that howl once more. Think about what this means for all of us.
