Lessons learned from the 1960s lead him to these recommendations for "future modeling efforts". They are just as useful today...

Well worth a read. These new mobility data and the insights they provide will be fundamental to the spatial analysis field in the years to come.

Today @JamaalBowmanNY introduced the Green New Deal for Public Schools to decarbonize every K-12 school while addressing environmental & racial inequity.
This will create 1.3 million jobs, cut carbon pollution by equivalent of 17 million cars on road.

Consider the Learning Agenda for local govt. Craft analytics to solve specific strategic planning goals eg. 'reduce gun violence'.

➡️Is up/down zoning happening in changing nhoods?
➡️Does real estate change w/ zoning changes?
We need to study but the only geospatial repository of Philly zoning changes are pdfs attached to ind. bills.
We need a massive community #GIS initiative to digitize all these data!

Putting more homes right where transit is is important for both our environment and for making transit accessible to more people. But City Council is actively hostile to growing our city sustainably.
