Very emotional reading about The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. A few years ago traveling with a close friend and her 17 year old son when he tragically died in France. Kevin Bell people stepped up and helped us get the poor kid home :( Bless Them 🙏🏻
Here's the thing. I'm an American born Irish citizen, and what kept me here is the music. And for me the music started hearing Sally Gardens by Clannad. Maire Brennan Rest In Beautiful Peace ❤️🙏🏻🇮🇪
Hello @wizzair you cancelled our flight to DUBAI and I (think) I did the refund form but received NO EMAIL confirmation of the refund process... Please help clarify the situation?
The big green monster is dead. After years of brutally dominating the sport of #hurling, today the chickens came home to roost. #Dublin with a man down on red card cracked the code, played that physical #Limerick style, and with a ton of heart beat the masters at their own game.
I've always loved the resonant names of the three wise men - Gaspar, Melchior, and Balthazar - and fascinating to learn that their names in Syrian Christmas are Larvandad, Gushnasaph, and Hormisdas.
This is a fascinating article and makes me wanna read the book but... Orlando and Inigo? Millennial art world friends or characters in Shakespeare?

Fi-na-effing-ly the bigwigs in Dublin show small bit of respect to the south of the country. We have been waiting for Cork-New York for like 40 years!

This is pretty much who I imagined I might be at this age - slightly dapper, slightly paunchy Southern expat reading Durrell or Laurie Lee in some provincial Spanish train station ;)
I don't have a lot of elders around the place anymore... So extra happy to have a beautiful afternoon with tapas y vino chatting with Tarifa expat king Bob Clarke :)
GoGo music came outta DC in the 80s with an infectious groove and syncopation. I loved it back in the day and will be playing this one Thursday night.
