YOUNG ENGINEERS UGANDA TEAM VISITS OREVINE SCHOOL!!
Kampala, Uganda - A team from Young Engineers Uganda visited Orevine School on January 29, 2025, to establish a collaboration.
The team, comprised of CEO Ms. Maureen Karamagi, Head of Curriculum Ms. Allen Nanyonjo, and three STEM education coaches.
The aim of the visit was to introduce the
#STEM and
#Robotics program to the school.

According to Ms. Maureen Ayebare Karamagi, CEO of Young Engineers Uganda, the program aims to nurture the next generation of Ugandan scientists, innovators, creative thinkers, and problem solvers from the age of 4-17 years.
βWe use a robotics and LEGO curriculum to enhance the teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math as well as prepare kids for the competitive world, she explained.

@YoungEngneersUG , presented the program, showcasing projects built by students. She urged the school administration to adopt the program, emphasizing its benefits in providing practical implementation skills at an early stage.
"We are excited about the possibility of working with Orevine School and look forward to the opportunity to collaborate," said Ms. Karamagi.
The school staff promised to discuss the program with the head of school and explore possibilities for collaboration. They appreciated the initiative, recognizing its value in nurturing the next generation of problem solvers and critical thinkers.
