A new mechanic, 2 bit palette swapper, and a jolly giraffe are three things that made me happy and I hope they make your day a little brighter too

this is my first time entering a game into #SteamNextFest and it's super scary. but it also means i've finally built a game i'm proud of. so i'd love for everyone to try out Go North's demo and have a relaxing and wonderful time! #screenshotsaturday

Make that 88 copies. I just bought the game for myself and 10 of my friends. 3 years of work and you shipped it. That alone puts you ahead of 99% of people who ever wanted to make a game. If you're up for it, I'd love to offer some free marketing help. Keep up the great work ❤️
So my game flopped after 3 years of work...😢 Since its release on May 26th, I've sold 77 copies... Streamers and curious gamers loved it. I have 2800 wishlists, 800 of which are from the release date.... What do you think? Be honest.🙏 store.steampowered.com/app/3…

I implemented a palette swapper in my 2bit platformer: at the moment 30 available palettes. I was showing my friend some screens of the different palettes and the thumbnails on discord ended up looking pretty awesome so I'm just here to share it with y'all.

I'm cheating on screenshot Saturday by posting a video but I lowkey want to show off the side-by-side progress I've made over the last year! #screenshotsaturday #gamedev #indiegames

Early playtests showed that readability was a big problem for a big chunk of the players, taking away from the gameplay experience. Therefore, I have done a visual overhaul from 1bit to 2bit. Enjoy this little showcase video!

Finally did a proper sitdown to pixel some more decorative assets for my second biome. Still considering steering away from 1bit, perhaps go 2bit where I'd just use a 3rd colour for background, and a 4th for accents on interactables/hazards.

A, B, or C, which font do you like best for this little capsule art!?

Did a little psychological horror game jam with my friend (RIP her wrist so we couldn't get all the visuals we wanted :( ) First time doing something horror and had a lot of fun even though it's far from perfect. 10/10 would horror jam again. kepsert.itch.io/sort-it-out

Taking a week off of my main project to do a little game jam: psychological horror game. First time doing horror, satisfied with my little intro / sound design. (Work in progress) Flashing light warning btw! #indiegamedev #gamedevelopment #gamejam

An abyssal glimmer. Something that learned to mimic hope. The Luring Candle crawls through the dark. Its light is a question you don't want to answer. Its touch, a poison.🪼 Don't trust what you see. When the light reaches you, you're already inside. #CryptStalkers #horror #DnD

Picked this up directly on release! Managed to sink an hour or two into it right away and REALLY ENJOYED IT. Definitely do consider picking this up if you're into deckbuilders, farming games, roguelikes, or a combination thereof o7
Thank you everyone for trying Cropdeck, sharing my posts, all the comments, and reviews! In under two days, my little indie game reached 5000 units sold on Steam 😵

Still pretty scuffed but I'm having fun haha. It's been a while since I've modeled something not associated to some large project.
