I was in Folkestone for a @WomenEd book launch event with @KerryJordanDaus & I couldn't go all that way and not go to the beach!
I had a milkshake as I couldn't get an icecream & took myself out for an explore. The harbour is gorgeous & I will be back.

It was powerful to hear directly from parents, carers, and young people, including 17-year-old Katie, on @BBCWomansHour today. Their stories highlight the urgent need to tackle the SEND crisis.
We hear countless frustrating and heartbreaking experiences just like these every day on our helplines. Now, with @UKLabour in power, it’s crucial they move beyond simply acknowledging that the system is broken. They must commit to understanding the real issues and taking decisive action.
