@kevinfor16th and I condemn the unacceptable and abhorrent comments made by 50th Ward Aldermanic candidate Mueze Bawany. Hateful rhetoric has no place in our communities, and even more so should not be spread by someone seeking an elected position in government.

To say that I am devastated by today’s Supreme Court ruling is an understatement. This shameful decision will set back DECADES of progress for Women’s fight to retain autonomy over their own bodies. Unfortunately the fight for reproductive justice is not over, but has only begun.
