It is great to see @AR_Coffee13 roll out @2GoCup_org at their new coffee stand in Colbert station. I would like to see more businesses in Limerick using this excellent scheme to reduce wastage from paper cups ♻️ These keep cups are only €2 and you can return them and reuse them

Very excited to now be providing to festivals.
On top of our recent official US launch, our 2GoBowl found nationwide, 400 locations active, and of course the biggest single-use free town in Europe. It is safe to say we are busy 😅

23,000 single-use cups were being disposed of every week in Killarney.
I took a visit to Ireland’s first ‘disposal cup free town’ to see how the @2GoCup_org scheme is working out.
Gavin Gardiner from KCC tells @NTBreakfast it’s been a great success.

On July 31st, Killarney became the first Irish town to ban disposable coffee cups!
Customers pay a €2 deposit for a @2GoCup_org which is returnable in 350 Irish locations.
In Ireland, we throw away about 200 million cups each year. If Killarney can do it, any town can!

I haven't had a minute yet to express how incredible the past few days have been.45 businesses across the Killarney area will remove single-use cups. One of the biggest swaps to reuse in the EU. Thanks to all the media for the attention..safe to say we got the word out!
