Alright, so having rewatched (under excruciating pain) Sunday’s heartbreaking loss vs Inter Miami, here’s my analysis of what momentarily worked and what went wrong in the second half. 🧵[Thread] #VamosOrlando

USA. A Mexican restaurant. We had not yet ordered anything, and the food was already arriving. Chips. Salsa. Unrequested. Free. I stopped the waiter. "We have not earned these." "They just come with the table, man." They come with the TABLE. In my land, hospitality is a debt. Every gift creates an obligation, weighed carefully, returned in the proper season with interest of feeling. Here, the gift arrives before you have even proven you can pay for dinner. This is not an appetizer. This is a declaration: we trust you. Eat. I ate with the gravity the moment deserved. And then — I must report this calmly — the basket emptied, and a new one appeared. "Did we…?" "Refill," the waiter said. "It's bottomless." Bottomless. They have wells of salsa. The supply lines of this nation are beyond anything my ancestors imagined. My friend warned me. "Don't fill up on chips, dude." Too late. I had accepted three baskets. Honor demanded each one be finished — an unfinished gift is an insult. By the time my actual food arrived, I was a ruined man. I was not hungry. I was not comfortable. I had been defeated by a courtesy. Generosity that arrives before the request cannot be repaid. It can only be survived. I know the rule now. I have made my peace with the basket. One basket. Two at the most. Who am I deceiving. There is no number of baskets I would refuse. The trust of a nation is in that salsa, and I intend to honor all of it.

This is just getting laughable. How is it that Inter Miami can sign a player who was among the best paid in the world last season without any DP spots and a couple more near-DP-level players already on the roster? This is a club that was already in trouble for breaking rules. Now it seems they can build whatever roster they want. At this point, abandon the salary cap and let's just be honest about things.
🇧🇷 Sources: The LA Galaxy and Inter Miami are both serious suitors for Brazil int’l midfielder Casemiro. Casemiro will be a free agent this summer after his Manchester United contract expires. w/ @PaulTenorio @MarioCortegana nytimes.com/athletic/6993597…

I like what I’m seeing so far of the Sounders first half in El Volcán. They’re maintaining their structure and hitting on the counter when they find the chance, without losing tactical order. They blew a golden opportunity to get that away goal but it’s still a great performance.

RT @h0rm0natt0ressi: Da pena verlo eh,está tan desesperado por ser el máximo goleador de la historia que no le importa que le veamos hacer…

let’s face it: crepeau is a mediocre keeper, iago has stage freight, brekalo can’t lead a fucking defense/doesn’t have a brain of his own, marin is retarded, atuesta is washed, nolan miller shouldn’t be starting as many games as he does, duncan mcguire was a one season wonder

i really hate this group of senior players barring two or three exceptions. most of the current senior roster is either retarded and/or terrible at soccer, but especially retarded because most of the goals conceded are just pure RETARDATION. just play ocb from now on.
LA adds another

One is a red card and one isn’t. The only difference is one plays for Miami and the other doesn’t.

If you say this to anti-MLS Americans who (ALWAYS) support either a big 6 Prem team or Barca/Madrid, they have an aneurysm and say MLS sucks and you dont know ball MLS might be the only league in the world where you get slandered for supporting your local club, by locals

loved this tactical breakdown of last saturday’s game. the only thing orlando city does well as a team is rotation, which is the key to dismantle a team that uses man-marking. i’m really glad montreal was the first opponent of the perelman’s era. this victory gives the team…
Outmatching a man-marking system: keeping it simple served @OrlandoCitySC well. #orlandocitysc @TonyHusband @MLSonAir @AppleTV

much needed confidence and the opportunity to work on what is going to be perelman’s orlando without the pressure of being bottom of the league.
