Another opinion that probably won’t be popular. But I sincerely think Square Enix should stop wasting its time with Disney and Kingdom Hearts. Having to consult them to validate every little thing added to the game makes development tedious and unnecessarily long in the end, while also tying up an entire development team that could be working on something else. And it hurts Square Enix’s image. Square Enix should focus on its own franchises such as Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, NieR, the games made by the Asano Team, and bring older franchises back into the spotlight instead of dedicating an entire team to KH.

Windows dominates 96–98% of PC gaming, while consoles occupy a smaller, focused segment of the market. It offers greater platform reach and a more expansive ecosystem, with the largest library and widest hardware and software compatibility. Folding Xbox into Windows creates a unified platform across devices, genres, and generations. That’s a power move.
