Hi everyone, it’s Kevin Healey from Neurodivergence Unfiltered.
I wanted to briefly talk about the recent reaction to the video involving Gemma Collins and the Department for Education.
A lot of parents in the neurodivergent community are upset and feel frustrated, particularly around how autism, ADHD and SEND issues are being represented publicly.
I think what many families want is to feel listened to and understood — especially when so many are already struggling to access support for their children.
For me, this shouldn’t become about online attacks or abuse. It should be about honest conversation and hearing real lived experiences from neurodivergent people and parents.
That’s why I’ve invited both Gemma Collins and the Education Secretary to come onto Neurodivergence Unfiltered for an open and respectful discussion.
Because real conversations are how we create understanding and positive change.

So Today I contacted Bridget Phillipson to respectfully raise concerns that some parents and members of the neurodivergent community have shared following the recent video with Gemma Collins.
I’ve also invited her to come onto Neurodivergence Unfiltered for an open and constructive conversation about autism, ADHD, education, and the real experiences of families across the UK.
The goal isn’t hostility — it’s understanding, awareness, and better conversations.
