Our thoughts are with Jim Fleeting’s family and friends following his passing. Jim gave over 25 years of service to the Scottish FA, playing an instrumental role across Coach Education and Football Development, latterly in the role of Director of Coaching.

We are delighted to have been awarded £8.14m of funding from @DCMS to enhance football and sport facilities across the country. Culture Secretary, Lisa Nandy announced the pledge at East Kilbride United Community Sports Club, which has benefitted from over £300k of funding.

The @ScottishFA’s Extra Time programme is helping children to thrive and supporting parents to work – backed by a @ScotGov investment of £5.5 million. Education Secretary Jenny Gilruth visited @Strollers1973 to see the vital after-school support in action.

Victoria Coupar has been recognised as Best Volunteer in Girls & Women’s Football at the 2025 Grassroots Awards, presented by McDonald’s and the Sunday Mail. At East Kilbride Youth Club, Victoria is known for her unmatched commitment and attention to detail in the girls’ game.
