"When I decided to become an opera singer, I kind of made like a pact with God. I was like, if I want to do this, I want to bring hope" -Countertenor @KeyWMurrahseattleoperablog.com/2022/01…
It was moving to see these young artists take the stage after a year of limited live performances. We are thrilled that we were able to carry on this tradition safely w/ the help of @MethodistHosp. Don't forget you can still enjoy Concert of Arias on @MarqueeArtsTV until 3/4!
It’s been a minute y’all, but I wanted to put this fun snippet out there: Movement 3 of the Florence Price Sonata in E minor.
6/8 time, adventurous harmony, octaves... what’s not to love???
I had fun making music with Joyce Didonato`s 2019 Carnegie Hall Master Class Alumni!

Here is the beautiful second theme area of Florence Price's piano sonata. The melodies are light, but the harmony is inviting, even intriguing at times. I love how developmental she is here in the form. It's just a taste of how adventurous she is later in the movement!
Hey y'all. I'm a classical pianist! I'm currently based in Kentucky, teach at an HBCU, and perform in both the classical and gospel genres. Would love to expand that though!
Well if this just didn't make my Friday, my Saturday, my 2020 ... BRAVO Keymon! Y'all will remember him from the @carnegiehall classes last year!! SUBLIME!
